This web-site is dedicated
to people interested in the empirical,
technological and philosophical research
program known as " course-of-action
" (with its three fundamental theoretical
hypotheses, enaction, preflective
consciousness and activity-sign,
its observatory end its studio),
either to take part in it, or to draw a part
of their inspiration from it, or to contest
it. It presents a selection of texts, past
or current, not easy to find, written by
myself, Jacques Theureau, alone or among
other authors, and my list of publications
regularly updated. Now, except concerning
its philosophical part, this research
program is essentially developed and renewed
by other authors than myself. Since the last
updating of this site, in 2022, my
publications are sporadic and essentially in
collaboration with other authors who take
care of their future. If the updating of my
list of publication is no more necessary,
the main function of this site remains.
The book Le cours d'action:

)] has been completed by three other
books out of print : Le cours d'action:
Méthode élémentaire [Theureau, 2004 (2004-JT-O50
and 2004-JT-Illustrations
scannées), Le cours d'action: Méthode
réfléchie [Theureau, 2009 ( 2009-JT-060 )] and Le
cours d'action: L'Énaction et l'Expérience
[Theureau, 2015 ( 2015-JT-068)].
I also recently
wrote texts that will be published in one
way or another or modified and published in
collaboration with other authors. They are
placed on this site in order to be more
wildly discussed. In the future, they will
be completed or replaced with other texts
for the same purpose :
